neu LABO sources technologies and assets (“beans”) from academia and industry globally, guided by its Chief Roaster’s “nose” and vision. These beans are developed (“blended and roasted”) in-house by neu LABO’s team of experienced drug hunters, guided and advised by a world-class “Jedi Council” of highly experienced, successful drug developers pulled from the Chief Roaster’s circles.

In addition to pursuing the craft of creating high-quality, innovative and differentiated drugs, neu LABO also seeks to forge novel models of collaboration with academia and industry partners, wherein the proceeds of each roast are shared with contributing parties.

In this manner, neu LABO partners with emerging and established biotech companies by taking licenses to their technologies and/or assets that are under-resourced (“beans”), “roasting” them, and offering some of the product candidates back to these partners. Through this arrangement, neu LABO provides pipeline diversification for its partners, with a 3 to 5-year time horizon.

In some cases, neu LABO may blend “beans” from more than one source, and hence also provide technology diversification for each single-origin contributing sponsor.
